Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try them.

It's probably a corrupt book, like you all have mentioned.

This Kindle is also used at work, where we also publish (create) ebooks for clients, so it's probably one of the test ebooks that is causing the problem.

One is probably stuck. You may need to remove them and start again. I would also recommend not having more than 200 or 300 on the kindle at any given time as the kindles can run into problems when there is more than that. Trying to index 2500 books is a lengthy task and will eat the battery when something gets stuck.

I would reset/reboot everything and pick up the books from the archives again.

Hi. I got a weird issue with my Kindle Touch. I applied the software update to my Kindle (5.3.2) and that went well. It also had to reindex my books (about 2500).

For some reason, it won't index any more books. It's still has 1647 more books to index, and it's been at that number for the past week. No change.

It's not a big deal, I can still read books fine, but when searching, I'll still get that message that 1647 books have not been indexed yet. You'd think after 7 days, at least it one more book would have been indexed.

Any tips on fixing this? Is my indexing paused for some reason?
