This doesn't have anything to do with books, but is there an easy way to get the Kindle screen protector on smoothly and with no air bubbles in it? Thanks.

I love to read, and hear from others and i just stumbled upon this site when i got the kindle, sence i was trying to figure out how to work it as i dont have to many tech peeps round me lol. Jayce can do a lot but this isnt one of his things. I got a ? once i download a book and have read it where do i put it or where do i save it or what ever. Ribbon - just glad it went through okay. I do love the classic mysteries myself and wanted to make sure all went well. Still learning how to go through things here and was afraid I did something incorrectly ;)

Oh, I forgot this until I had already posted. I have 4 Kindles and 1 Fire. I want to put all bundles on one KK. Does anyone know how I can do this?? Other than sending them to cloud and pulling them back to other K.??
I really don't have enough to do so I make up things to take up time. And if you believe this I own a swamp in GA I will sell to you for 1 new book.

I got the new collection app and I like it very much--works much better than the 1st. Now, I have over 8,000+ books. A jellybean to whoever can tell me how long I will take to sort and list said books.

LOL verry loud.

It means Edited To Add. Somewhere there is a list of the abbreviations. Look here to get most of them, but I don't think that is the official FB&C link that I saw posted once. Maybe needs to be added at the top of the thread, as I think there will be more newbies as people explore their new 1st kindles.

My ignorance being quite apparent lately in this forum I just have to ask. ETA? On mars it was an initialism for estimated time of arrival. What the heck am I missing?

@Chaya very very luckily I found it when there were about 7 novels already published...I inhaled them all. What I like about them is that yes there are sex scenes but it is more story and character driven. I may not like all the brother's stories but she keeps all of them popping up throughout the series and not just walk in parts. Not everyone in every book but it keeps the universe well rounded.

ETA no sparkles anywhere.

Yes, very much so! Everyone is quite thorough in answering questions. The aptitude of the one following the directions is however questionable. ( chaya looks at ground and shuffles feet )

I'm excited to read the Indian cuisine menu! Ty for the time expended.

Black dagger rings a bell, sexy type stuff?

@ Chaya I have found every genre here. I go in spits and spurts. Lately been on the kid's books and cookbooks as they are short and my life has been very hectic. I noticed that lately I've been clicking on a lot of mysteries so I think that will be my next genre phase. Although I am eagerly waiting for the next NOT FREE EVER Brotherhood of the Black Dagger novel. NONE OF THEM FREE EVER. I inhaled the series. I keep hoping that one of the publishers of Agatha Christie would have a sale. $8 for each one of her books just not going to happen. So if you are looking for a particular genre, it'll show up and if you create a Public Wish list there are a couple of Wish list hoppers that let people know if something they like is available.

Wish List Hopping can be fun. If you see the same author over and over that means they are probably a better book. As much as I like trying no self/indie authors some of them are very difficult to get through.

Don't forget to try the sites mentioned at the beginning of each day. I personally use, FB&C (this thread), and if I am looking for a particular thing I'll do an Aunt Ammie search. between these three i know have a very fat Kindle. Sometimes searching and feeding the one click monkey on my back is all I need for the day.

did this even come close to answering your question?

Now I am going to finish today's thread and start working on the full Indian Meal experience.

If it was in today's thread discussion, it was when the Fire was deregistered from the account the books were purchased under, then all the books disappeared. Evidently Fire is different from Kindle, which will retain all books on it when switched to a different account.

I don't have a Fire, but I would assume you can transfer books via usb cable from your PC, same as a Kindle.

Searched back through my emails & found some gifts I had missed. Thank you:
- One of Santa's Elves for ** NOT FREE ** Together for Christmas (The Vicarage Bench)
- TNT for ** NOT FREE ** And Only to Deceive (Lady Emily Mysteries, Book 1)
- BJ for ** NOT FREE ** The Christmas Cookie Chronicles: Carrie: A Twilight, Texas Story (Twilight Texas). BJ thanks for resending the email. Still haven't found the original.

Leaves just ** NOT FREE ** Saturday Night Cleaver (A Barbara Marr Murder Mystery #4) unclaimed. Searched all the way back to Dec 13. Once the guests leave have to spend some serious time getting backlog cleaned up.
