I put a small dessicant bag (silica gel) in the Trendy Digital case and it prevents condensation from forming. Just save the dessicant bags that come in the packaging with the next pair of shoes or piece of electronics you buy.

You're right FoundQuilting. The only way around this is to remove the moisture in the bag before going to the beach. It's moisture that you see as condensation. You can use rice kernals, those little moisture packages you see in shoes sometimes, refrigerator will reduce the moisture as cooler air holds less moisture. The more humid the air trapped in the plastic bag, the more condensation.

I've used the TrendyDigital case and got condensation too. I don't think there is a way around it. It's physics.

We camp and Amazon sent this in an email of things I might be interested in. We're seriously thinking of ordering some.

Hello! I go to the beach a lot and love bringing my kindle. I have noticed many people mention using a plastic bag. When I tried to do this I had condensation in the bag and got nervous. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a waterproof case most people prefer?
