Has anyone that has got full episodes to play on kindle to work tried to xray screen from kindle to ps3 or smarttv to watch on actual tv screen?

Nobody ever promised you could watch live TV on your Fire. It's up to each individual network to provide an appropriate app or web page that does not require Adobe Flash or other unsupported video player in order for you to watch that network. You'll find there are a few networks you can watch and many you cannot.

"just need some direct instruction-steps to follow"

And you were given some. Again, perhaps you need to find someone who is more of a "techie" to help you with this.

"suggest u be a lil more understand that not everyone has the time to mess with this stuff"

I'm very understanding. I work a full time job, have a home business, and still manage to volunteer my time to help folks with their Kindles. If you want to get your device working the way you want it to, you will have to take the time to read the instructions and perform the install. I'm not sure what more help anyone could offer you on these forums.

Well adobe is the one that pulled flash from android devices which I don't understand why they did that as my slot games on facebook require flash if the game doesn't have an app so this means I can't get to them on my phone while out and about to get my slots coins if I am not home and that's annoying. The last time I had to have my fire replaced I got flash and dolphin from 1mobile and it worked fine but granted that was 6 months ago. Mary

I m just saying that when I had them on kindle before it worked just fine but now that I down loaded them from a different source it has started to run slow, screen freezes up n I cant watch or even down load videos that I use to be able to so maybe I don't have the settings set right but wish I could push the go back button or something I hate having to do so many things/changes to kindle all the time just to see if it will work or not work just need some direct instruction-steps to follow that's all but thanks for all ur help that u were so willing to offer but suggest u be a lil more understand that not everyone has the time to mess with this stuff or understand why should have to do it at all

I don't know what to tell you. Nothing has changed about these apps (other than the version of dolphin that's available) since Sept. 2012. Hundreds, if not thousands, of folks have gotten dolphin and Flash installed and running on their Kindles using these instructions. Perhaps you have a tech savvy friend, co-worker or family member that can help you?

You cannot get the Dolphin browser and Adobe Flash apps through the Amazon appstore. Goodereader.com has it's only appstore, and you can get the files from there. I think you are making this WAY harder than it needs to be. Please just follow the instructions listed above step by step.

You can go to the sites using the Silk web browser and download the APK files for Dolphin and Flash directly to your Fire and install them, or you can go to the sites on your computer and download the APK files to you computer and manually transfer them to your Fire. It only took me about 10 minutes to get both up and running. Just follow the steps one at a time,

Also to get 1mobile apps just go to www.1mobile.com right from the browser on the fire and install their marketplace app. Mary

Are you trying to install Dolphin and Flash? If so, you don't need 1mobile:

To install Flash: (You have to have a Flash compatible browser in order to install Flash. You can't install it under Silk.)

Do the following on the Fire / Fire HD itself:

Swipe down from the top > More > Device > Allow Installation of Applications.

Download and install the Dolphin Browser and Flash Player .apk files from these links:

*Dolphin Browser version 9.2.0:
http://apps.goodereader.com/android-apps/internet-and-communication/?did=5049

*Flash Player for ICS version 11.1:
http://apps.goodereader.com/android-apps/essential-android-tablet-applications/?did=173

Once both files are downloaded to your Fire, on the Home screen of your Fire, swipe from the top and tap on the .apk files in your notifications to install them.

Install Dolphin *first*. Then Install Flash.

When you launch the Dolphin browser, go into the settings and make sure "User Agent" is set to "Desktop."

**NOTE** - It may be helpful to you to watch the tutorial video for the Fire HD on the goodereader website first:

Make sure you have the fire to allow apps from outside sources then go to the 1mobile site on the fire and install their app and search for dolphin browser and downlaod and install it. Then at 1mobile search for the adobe flash player installer, works really nice now to put flash on I found out. Maybe the movie trailer did not require flash. Mary

I followed the instructions in this blog (http://kindleworld.blogspot.com/2012/10/youtube-suddenly-requiring-flash-player.html) to install the Dolphin browser and I use that with no problems to view my TV shows over the Internet. It's a nice alternative. Although I did notice the other day that Amazon's silk browser streamed a movie trailer, and it didn't use to.

Does anyone have a check list of things to look for to make ABC work? So far I am at page 4 of this thread and I hv tried the flash setting, the accelerate loading setting and made sure I am using high speed internet but nothing worked. I travel for work a lot and I am trying to catch up on my Once Upon a Time fix. Thx.

Mary says:
No the browser that comes on the fire does not that is why you download dolphin browser to go with the flash. Mary
