When you go to apps did you switch the view to show on device? It won't show the icon if you are showing cloud view as it wasn't purchased from Amazon.

If you open your dolphin app there should be an option under settings to make it your default. I use silk, but when I open the dolphin app there is a box right on the bottom of the main page to check to make it the default.

I agree, the movies are one of the reasons I have the Kindle. They need to figure out something or they are going to have a lot of unhappy customers.

Meya I have just got a Kindle Fire LCD (NOT HD). Have managed to install Dophin Browser (but it says HD version) is there and LCD version and if so do you have a link with one for flash player. Losing the will to live with this thing. Thanks. Treasa

Torrie - Even with Flash and a Flash compatible web browser installed, you still may not be able to play some FB games. If you want to install Flash and a Flash compatible web browser, here are the instructions. I have FLash running on my Kindle Fire HD, and it works fine, BUT I don't play FB games, so your mileage may vary.

To install Flash: (You have to have a Flash compatible browser in order to install Flash. You can't install it under Silk.)

Do the following on the Fire / Fire HD itself:

Swipe down from the top > More > Device > Allow Installation of Applications.

Download and install the Dolphin Browser and Flash Player .apk files from these links:

*Dolphin Browser version 9.2.0:

*Flash Player for ICS version 11.1:

Once both files are downloaded to your Fire, on the Home screen of your Fire, swipe from the top and tap on the .apk files in your notifications to install them.

Install Dolphin *first*. Then Install Flash.

When you launch the Dolphin browser, go into the settings and make sure "User Agent" is set to "Desktop."

**NOTE** - It may be helpful to you to watch the tutorial video for the Fire HD on the goodereader website first:

Tried to install all the available browers on Amazon with no luck. All I want to do is be able to play my games on FB. Thank you

ok. I have ES File Exployer. I downloaded the latest version of Dolphin and Adobe Flashplayer from the websites recommended by Meya above in the forum string. I still can't get any website that requires flashplayer to work AND, like Lisa above, everytime I tap on either dolphin or Flashplayer it tells me that I will be replacing an existing file and it downloads it again. It doesn't ask me if it's a photo, text, or video file but does want to download again each time. What step have i missed?

I've downloaded dolphin and try to install using 20s, but it asks me if it's a photo, text, audio or video file and I've used every app in all four but none works! What am I do wrong? I am so frustrated!

HELP! When I open ES file explorer and tap on dolphin, it asks me if I want to open it as a text, photo, audio or video. I have tried using every application in all 4, but nothing works. Once it's downloaded, how do I install dolphin? Thanks!

Only links to Amazon will be click-able in this forum. You can actually highlight and copy and paste text on a Kindle Fire. Just FYI...
