Is there a way to make this more tedious, confusing and intermittant? I sure hope so!

i haven't seen this new commercial but i doubt it would offend me.....i have prob seen a lot worse.

Your going to be living in diapers and subsisting on crackers by the time you finish boycotting every company you think supports gay rights. When that happens....please post a picture for all of us :)

If you own a business, I hope all your customers boycott it and you go out of business.

Good for you, P. Fritz (not!)! And, why ever would you choose to announce your intolerance here on a zombie thread concerning the free Kindle email address. Kinda bizarre, dontcha think? I hope we aren't going to find your announcement interspersed among other forum threads.

So you are going to judge others because they sin differently than you do?? Better get that Bible out....

That is your prerogative. It's intolerant, but one of the great things about America is that countless people have given their lives for you to have the freedom to feel that way, and gay men (and everyone else) to feel how they want to feel about things, too.

There are a lot of offensive commercials on tv..like the Calvin Klein ads a few years ago...the viagra ads, and I could go on and on but won't. If it offends you, turn it to another channel, or, if you have a tv that allows it...skip thru the commercials. Just do not condemn ppl because of what they believe or what their preferences are. I am sorry, but they ARE still human. Feel free to put me on ignore

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here, BUT, all people SHOULD be treated equally..no matter who they are, what their sexual preferences/orientations are, or what their ethnicity or religious affiliations happen to be. I find this remark you've made to be quite offensive. However, if you're upset about a commercial on tv, ok, a LOT of commercials are offensive imho, BUt, that does NOT mean that ALL ppl should NOT be treated equally...it says so in the constitution that ALL men (meaning PEOPLE) are created equally! Think before you insult someone's belief's, sexual preferences, religions, or ethnicity..ask yourself how YOU would feel if someone made a comment like that about you..say because your hair is an unusual style or color; or because you have freckles, or happen to be missing a limb etc. Put a little compassion into your soul for once.

I don't know about getting music etc. but do know my SIL has an older kindle, and her daughter sends books to her on loan via the 3G and there is no cost to either party. How Kindle manages that is beyond me but hey, it works!

anna, the @kindle.com address is used for sending documents to your Kindle. For e-mails you use your existing e-mail provider like gmail or hotmail.

My question is, how to you retrieve your emails that are sent to your @kindle.com or @free.kindle.com address? Not had my Kindle Fire very long and still new at it. Thanks.

Jacqueline says:
Ah, yes, I've never seen a 3G on it - okay, thanks!

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 12, 2012 7:30:45 PM PST
If I understand correctly, the Fire is wireless only, so you shouldn't have to worry about being charged for using a 3G network.

I have a Fire and I don't have an option either - does that mean it could still charge me? Thanks, all....what I really want to know is how to get my downloaded music onto the Kindle Fire? without having to plug it into my computer - I'm still new enough at it that I'm afraid I'd wipe all the data from the Fire or something - any help will be appreciated!

AmeliaAT says:
If you have wifi only, then you don't need to use the @free address since email will never be sent to your Kindle via 3G. Maybe they've fine-tuned the default MYK pages so that people who don't have 3G won't be given stuff to deal with that they don't need.

No, I have wifi only KK but I remember it used to give me that option. I remember going in and setting it to $0.00

Do you have a 3G Kindle? If you don't have a 3G Kindle, it probably won't show those options.
