Hi Cinder and Reader! Are you all on the west coast or late niters on the East?

Hi Reader.

No offense taken. Last night was so strange, I added it just in case. No need tonight.

Hi RandOR...Thanks for helping to keep this Thread up and running. I usually lurk due to my odd hours, but I get some good recommendations here. What happened to Joyce? I was gone for awhile and returned and she was gone too, seemingly for good. I hope she is OK.

Good morning, Randy. I've been out here for awhile catching up with things.
(No offense - I wasn't going to include your Web-Site warning - I copied a previous day's opening.)

I see Cinder bopping all over this morning. I think she's been dipping into Babel's ninja coffee!

So, what do you think? Was the posting by the web-site owner in last night's freebie thread a one-time thing?

I'm feeling like we can drop the Web-Site warning and just go back to the Author warning like always. Besides, it would be fun to abuse the spammer if they return!! :-)

eReader updated at 12:41. So far only 57 (1 page plus a few)...

@A Book A Day

Thanks for de-lurking.

Several of the regular posters are also interested in children's books, so watch for those.

Unknown about the zombie books. Not my thing. Seems to be a real interest in vampire and zombie and paranormal. Could be a young-person thing.

Some of the posters use Calibre, some use Shelfari, and some use Goodreads. There is work and gain to using any of them as I understand. Ask again tomorrow during the day, and you'll find experienced posters (I'm not a user of any of them).

I've made rosewater sorbet. The flavor was delicate and quite refreshing. I took it to a game-theme church potluck, figuring it would be good for cleansing the palate between strong-flavored game dishes - worked very well!

@Chai, thank you for the Victorian cookie recipe, it sounds lovely, & I think I have all the ingredients, too. :)

Actually all this talk of reviews might make me review the most awful Nicholas Sparks' book I just read. You know when a character conveniently dies as a means to wrap the story up, that things are bad.
