So I got the Kindle Fire for Christmas, and it's been connecting to my computer just fine. I haven't connected it for the past month of so, and I went to connect it today. My computer will not recognize it. It's titled "MSPro (G:)" and when I click on it, it tells me "Please insert a disk in drive G"
I have already tried waking the device before plugging it in, plugging it in when it's completely shut off and waking it while it's connected, uninstalling the device from my computer and then reinstalling it (which installs "incorrectly" and then informs me I need to format the removable drive before it can continue).
I'm on a dv6 HP computer running Windows 7 and recently updated most of my drivers (which might be causing the problem).
How do I fix it?
