That is a great idea, however a bit more difficult since I am in Mexico. I may have to Skype them.

Catherine, you need to contact Kindle Support. 1-866-321-8851. When the screen goes out like that, it cannot be fixed.

I earmarked a page so I could return to it after looking for something earlier in the book, and then couldn't figure out how to get back to the earmarked page. How do I do it? Mine is a Kindle Touch

Betty, on the KK it's menu/go to/marks and notes.

Virginia, if you put in a request for Kindle CS to call you, with your Mexico phone number, they do and it doesn't cost you anything. Just make sure you include your country and area code.

Betty Makris says:
Thanks for the input, but it doesn't seem to work that way on the Touch. I have go to but it doesn't say marks and notes, so I'm still stuck.

Miss Carol says:
Actually, on the KK you don't hit goto - just menu. It's about the middle of the page when you're in a book - is it the same on the Touch? Have the book open and touch menu then. Mine says, "View notes and marks" or something similar.

My apologies. I confess I didn't actually switch the KK on to check that sequence.

HI Betty, go to My Clippings. You'll find your ear-marked page from there.

I am trying to download archived items and it keeps saying it can't connect. The bars are grey. What gives? Can I download by USB? How do I do that?

After turning my Kindle 3G Whisper Net on and off, all of the Collections I had set up were gone and the books were all listed again. Why would this happen?

❤ Ann says:
If you wake your Kindle by sliding and releasing the power switch, you have Kindle 2 or 3.

Try a reboot - slide and hold the power switch for a full 30 seconds, then release and wait a few minutes for it to restart. If that doesn't work, you'll need to contact customer service for more help. Go to http://amazon.com/kindlesupport and click the 'Contact Us' button.

I think Kindle no longer downloads books to individual Kindles. Is it possible that books I paid for on my new Touch are really in the Cloud? If I connect to my computer by USB, many don't show up in the Kindle's texts folder. But my big question is how I can browse my own library. The pages listing books won't turn. I found out how to call up a page of book listings by page number, but
