Items not indexing

I have a Kindle Touch Wi-fi, with Special Offers. Recently, it has had problems indexing. I know that when the battery is low, items won't index, but this has begun happening when my battery is around 80 or 90 percent. I've tried restarts also, but they still won't index. After charging it to 100% again, the items will then index- at least for a short while. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you fix it?

How do you know that they're not indexing?

Usually, you should delete books that caught in an indexing loop, then download them again, one at a time.

It's not that the file is corrupted or that they're stuck in an indexing loop. There seems to be some relation between the battery life and the indexing, so that if the battery isn't at 100%, items don't index.

Your reply to S. Prewitt's post:
To insert a product link use the format: [[ASIN:ASIN product-title]] (What's this?)

I agree, how do you know? Depending on the size of the book it could take hours to index a book. I have one book that has 5 volumes in one. It takes over four hours to index.

I've been having a similar problem--and I realize it's not indexing because I use the notation option quite a bit. If I want to find that note I put in the number that I placed in the note in "search" to go back to that specific place without going thru a bunch of bookmarks. Whenever I try it says that the Kindle hasn't indexed that yet. It even does that for titles of Chapters. And it doesn't just happen on my Kindle device, it happens on my Kindle for PC, too. It continues to do that for days for the same note that has been in there for weeks if not months.

Edit: I also know that this used to work very well and has just stopped working recently. I don't have a Kindle Touch, though. I have a keyboard w/wi fi.
