*brings lemon cheesecake brownies straight from the oven to go with the ninja coffee*

You guys still here? And both have updated? Now to see whether they are free for me yet or not, Marla mentioned some really good-looking ones coming free today....

Hi Northern Light, Are they ninja lemon cheesecake brownies? :)
Yes, I remember Marla had a long list of ones free this weekend - Bryden's book was on that list. Will try to find.

Goodnight, Celestial Kitty. Thanks for the potent ninja coffee!

But of course! No books are free to me yet, but Meet My Shorts! (A Series of Short Stories) should be perfect for light reading at the continuing raok luau. I saw somebody had stopped in and been scared away by the mad speed of the conversation, it gave me a fright too, at first. But just use the "in reply to" links and scan to see whether somebody has replied to you directly and you should be fine and "lei'd" in no time at all:)

From ereaderiq"

Golden Chariot Thriller I chose this one because I read an article last year that one of the first computers was found on a ship from this period of time.

I edited this post, and my first pick went somewhere:

Informed Consent Medical thriller dealing with genetics

~How to add a link for a free book~

Go to the book page. Under product description, copy the ASIN number. On your post, (in the post box), click the spot where you want the link. Click "insert a product link" button. On the pop-up window, paste the number into the right box. Click go button. Select kindle book. Edit in additional information, if you would like. -eta- There is a maximum of 10 links per post.

You are welcome to re-list any links that are already listed, sometimes it takes the third time seeing one, before deciding to 1-click a book!

Morning all and thanks to Babel for starting us off.
Informed Consent sounds interesting - but only because I read the reviews and then clicked on the paperback version where there was a product description.

I wonder why so many of the free books don't have a product desc. if one can't find out what the book is about why would one want to "buy" it - anyone know whether it is the authors or Amazon who puts the product descr. in ?

Death on the Aegean Queen (Dotsy Lamb Travel Mysteries) - Car salesman George Gaskill goes missing from the stern deck of the ship, leaving only a pool of blood and a strange note behind. Then the ship's photographer turns up murdered on the beautiful island of Mykonos. Dotsy wants only to unwind.

It is the authors redandwhite . . . some of them seem to have taken it into their heads that they will sell more books by putting a testimonial where the book description should go.

redandwhite says:
Hi Northern Lights
The books are not free for me (yet) in DK either - but I am hanging on until they are.
Great that it is saturday and there is time for me to do more than lurk and skim through the posts.
On eReaderIQ I found :
Thirty Four Years Without You Romance - the title just grabbed me and had to have a look - a couple in their 70's with US immigration problems - (and I thought the laws were tough in DK !)

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 24, 2012 2:57:37 AM PDT
babel says:
Good morning, Grandma. They seem so to me - but gone are the days of double digit clicking for me. I'm trying to pick more carefully.

Hi redandwhite, I agree about the product descr often being sorely lacking. I think Marla posted about this; she asked several authors and they said that *they*, the authors, are resp for the prod. desc. (at least the indie authors).
