When you purchase a book it is stored on the Manage Your Kindle page on your Amazon account. You can download it whenever you want to. When you remove it from the device it is not deleting it from your archive.

@Janice: Yes, it is always in the archives, both in the list on your Kindle and on the Manage Your Kindle page on the website. You can download it from either of those sources.

Just a suggestion, you might be careful using phrases like "ya think" that could be taken as possibly insulting
