Thinking about buying a tablet, but want the ease of typing. Anyone know if there is a keyboard for the Fire and, if so, the apx cost?

The Fire has an onscreen virtual keyboard. Read the product page.

There is no way to plug in an external keyboard on the Fire.

You just use the on screen touchpad.

I was at Wal-Mart and saw a Logitech Bluetooth Keyboard for Android 3.0 Tablets. It was $79.99, if that helps.

It won't work on the Fire.

Does anyone know if an external keyboard is in the works for future upgrades?

C.G. I would like to know as well, so many new versions coming.

JB - since Amazon hasn't announced when new Kindles will be released, they obviously haven't announced what the features of said new Kindles are. There's a lot of rumors/speculation going on but that is all it is until Amazon announces something.

Thank you.
