Welcome All, to the Thursday, November 15th edition of Free Books and Chat

November, more than other months, seems to have a number of days (All Saints, Veterans, Thanksgiving) set aside to give thanks and show appreciation. All of those visiting this thread are here because we love to read. I am here because I am a self-confessed reading addict and have obsessive compulsive free book disorder. Id like to take this opportunity to give thanks and appreciation for those who create the worlds we visit, the authors.

Hold your breath
Make a wish
Count to three

Come with me
And you'll be
In a world of
Pure imagination
Take a look
And you'll see
Into your imagination

We'll begin
With a spin
Traveling in
The world of my creation
What we'll see
Will defy

If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There's nothing
To it

There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly
Wish to be

Learn The Secret to Short Sheeting a Bed HOW TO

ETA never mind NOT FREE NOW. Left the link in case you would like to add to your Wish List. My original post is below.

I know I posted the above yesterday. But I just finished it. So please just one click it. Do it now before it changes then come back and I'll tell you why...............

I told you to one click it!...............

Ok I have heard of short sheeting since I was a teenager, long long ago. However, I didn't know how to do it and had never had it done to me. This book tells you how, but it does so much more with humor. This book will not set the world on fire. But it made me giggle. I wonder if my kids would notice if I short sheet their beds.....I could blame the staff.......I really could.....

I failed...I said I wouldn't be bossy any more......I'm sorry.....not really...but I wish I was sorry....does that count?

All - if you could take a minute and think a good thought for my brother, I'd appreciate it.

He has been bleeding internally as a side effect of his disease - PSC. Since his second liver transplant, he hasn't really rebounded and is now in critical condition. My SIL was called at 4am to come to the hospital, however they have stabilized him enough to do a procedure that might stop the bleeding until he can be transferred to his transplant hospital.

All prayers and good thoughts are appreciated. Thank you.

make that three...didn't like Johnny Depp's rendition...IMO it didn't hold a candle to Gene Wilder's...

I went into the Johnny Depp with a very skeptical eye but was able to enjoy it. I just didn't think of it being the same film because of course it can't compare to Gene Wilder's.
