Is anyone else having issues with books showing up as unavailable right now? Trying to buy a couple of titles tonight, but thee is no kindle option. I checked a couple of books I've already bought and they are showing unavailable as well.

Erin - Yes, there must be some kind of a glitch on the website. We've contacted Amazon.

Oh good I just came into the discussion forums to see what the heck was going on...I am in Canada and I thought for a second they were taking away the availability of all of those books to Canadians (I have seen a couple books that aren't in the past). Good to know it's simply a glitch.

I think you might be the first Canadian to post with issues (at least that I know of). I know we've got an Aussie here who isn't experiencing problems. I thought it was just a U.S. thing.

That being said, Amazon's working on it. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. Talk about a terrible case of the hiccups! :)

I'm thinking Zombie Apocalypse, myself.

oh thank goodness. I sent a book as a gift and the recipient cannot retrieve it. I went to look at my books and it appears the Nelson Demille's, Michael Connelly, and Preston & Childs books all are showing unavailable.

To use against the sailor zombies?

Mermaid zombies.

Linda - Tell your friend to wait and try again in a couple of hours.

terribly inconvenient.. travelling out of the country and wanted to load up on books before I left.. Of all the times this could happen.. lol

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 8, 2012 9:13:34 PM PST
It was bound to happen eventually:). Just aim for the head...I've watched all of the Walking Dead and have learned that much.
And yes the issues are here too. I was also kind of hoping it meant prices being lowered but I knew that couldn't be it...oh well.

Yeah, must be a glitch--several books on my wishlist came up as not available tonight.

But sadly one of the books on my list now comes up as not available in this country and it is a sequel to one I just re-read to get ready for it. :-( And when I looked at the first one it is no longer listed in Kindle edition at all. Glad I already own it.

Hope they fix this soon as they are just draining money until it is.

Do you think Amazon *wanted* this glitch to occur, Riv? I'm sure they were/are trying to fix it as quickly as they can.

King Al says:
Probably not much, since people would just end up buying the books as soon as the glitch is fixed.
