Do you need an app killer on the Kindle Fire? If so which is the best one?

I'm curious...why do you need an app killer? There is a force close (I think it is under Applications).

I was wondering if one was needed. I had one in my android phone. And I kill the apps on my iphone. Soit doesn't drain the battery. Where is the force close? Do I need to worry about this?

KindleKat says:
I'm not sure about the iphone, but the Fire is android and since the Froyo update there has not been any need for app killers. In fact, they use more battery than they save. To save battery just turn off wifi when you don't need it and turn your brightness level down.

Natey says:
Tap the quick settings on the top right of your Fire, tap "More +" and then tap "Applications."

When you select an app or other running process, it will give you the option to "force close."

One am a girl. And that post was just annoying and unnecessary. I'm sorry I had a question about something. So Mr bowtie keep your stupid comments to yourself.
Kindlkat thank you. I did not know that, I got the iphone before froyo came out. But thats nice not needing an app killer. I have been turning the wifi off when I leave the house.
Mateys thank you I will check gust out.

B. Love. Put him on "Ignore this customer". That's what I've done and I'm certain many others.

So when an app freezes, on an iPhone and on my phone with ice cream sandwich, I can kill the app... I can't do that with my kindle fire. I have to do a hairdresser, which is happening way too much lately.

I want to delete an app so my son does not open. Or at least insert a prompt

Then...delete it. Do you have a question?
