I know; I don't understand it myself.

My eyes start to sting when I start reading on a Kindle, then after a while they start to burn like crazy. I tried to read on my laptop and on an IPad, but they get a bit too bright after 30 minutes or so. Afterwards, I start to get a headache.

It's really annoying - especially with all my friends and families blabbing on about Kindle's and IPads and EBooks and being the only one who can't read them no matter what, but what can I do? I can't help it. And I HATE it when people suggest books that can only be found on EBook form!

Soon enough, everyone will have some sort of E-Ink thingy. And books will soon fade out. Or get more expensive.

I hate my eyes. : (

Why do my eyes burn? What should I do??

What Kindle are you using? If you're using the Fire, then it has the exact same screen as your laptop and iPad, so of course you're going to get the same result as when you tried reading on your laptop and iPad.

Ask someone to watch you while you read your kindle. You might be staring too long without blinking. This is usually more a problem with computer screens and other LCD screens like the iPad but it might happen with a kindle.
