Good morning, afternoon or evening depending on wherever you are in this wonderful world of ours. Please feel free to come in and join in us our virtual world where we enjoy cozy, comfy places to hang out and always have plenty of food and snacks. Whatever you are in the mood for you can have it here.
We are expecting our first few snowflakes here tonight. Maybe a light covering on the grassy areas. Another great thing about our room is we get to hear about what kind of weather that everyone else is experiencing. So many different types not only here in the USA, but from our friends all over the world.
I would like to dedicate this post to two very special people. Happy 53rd Anniversary to my mom and dad today! A daughter couldn't ask for any better parents.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Does anybody know if Naughty or Nice? (By Request 2's) Not Free Now.....has a christmas theme? The cover has a wreath on it but the description doesn't say anything about Christmas....I'm just wondering...

Stephanie Bond always delivers, in my opinion, a fast, interesting and amusing read. This story is a classic of mistaken identity with all the twists and turns that can happen. What I especially like about this read is the quirky humor that Bond has in all of her stories. Cindy is expecting a corporate type to review and close the hotel she manages. She meets an interesting man who assumes Cindy knows he is the corporate evaluator but of course she doesn't. The many problems that arise during this time with the tree, kooky guests, etc., adds life and interest to this story. If you are looking for a quick, easy but amusing read that revolves around Christmas, I would strongly recommend this story.

The short answer would be yes

ETA I have not read the book but this is one of the reviews.

@Sandy Shops
I just finished reading** NOT FREE ** Naughty or Nice? (By Request 2's) ** NOT FREE ** by Stephanie Bond. Although the main theme of the story isn't about Christmas it does take place during Christmas and so it takes on the tone of a Christmas story.

I liked this story very much. Not quite as much as ** NOT FREE **Our Husband (a humorous romantic mystery) ** NOT FREE ** , but definitely worth the $1.49 purchase price.

They went over the bridge to Indiana to the gambling boat. Its's their one and only vice. They go about every 2 mths or so. They don.t get out and do alot. They are still trying to decide if they want us to take them out for dinner tomorrow. Mom would be good with it. Dad doesnt like lines, waiting, and nothing is as good as moms cooking. So that can be barrels of fun!

It's a very, very short story. I just read it in the Cloud Reader; it was okay. Just okay.

The pivotal moment isn't explained; no spoiler, but I wondered WHY "...must show her, before..."? It doesn't say WHY it was important.

Meh. It was okay.

Good morning all!

I think Robb sent all of his liquid sunshine down here. It's been raining for 2 days now. Kind of unusual this time of year.

Just a little FYI, I may not post books that often. I am a obsessive FREE 1-clicker. My reading interest have changed a lot over the last few years. I don't know what I'll be into in a few more years so I click just about anything. If it's free it doesn't hurt to sit in my Kindle Library.

This one was free on my wishlist this morning.
Changes - Fourth Book of the Never Lost Series by Riley Moreno - Young Adult. Third in series is still free as of now Third Book of the Never Lost Series - One Weekend In November. They are both short stories.

If I find anything else interesting I'll come back and post.

Good morning. Haven't checked in for a few days, but tried to skim most posts. Knowing me, I missed the most important part. I've been doing a LOT of online shopping, probably 2/3 done by now, but I'm trying to find the hardest ones now. Also a lot of baby sitting, a little cleaning, decorations, and relatives. Have tons to wrap and that will be hard for these ole bones, but it will get done. Kinda getting over my fall, only multi-colored in a few spots now, everything but leg and shoulder cleared up.

Healing prayers to those in surgery or recovering, welcome to the newbies - love to see new faces. Thinking of Elizabeth and all others who are living with the problems in their lives. I fear that something 'drastic' has occurred with Reader Tri or they would have posted something somewhere.

Zoo, no snow here so don't be selfish. Send some south! What's up with Marla, Nospin, and other regulars not posting? Hope everything is well for them. Still trying to find a fingerprint kit for my ultra-smart nephew, who doesn't want or need a 'toy', but does want enough to learn the art. Of course, I don't want to pay the $100+ for the kind of kit he wants.

Hope to show up during the day, back to shopping. Everyone have a wonderful day.

Brenda

Thank you for the start today, BubbaK. Congrats to your parents on 53 yrs. I hope they enjoy their special day and have many more to come.

@BJ Not much snow yet, but it looks like it could be here soon. As long as Uncle is taking Son deer hunting (and I don't have to get out in it) let it snow. I'm glad you are healing from your fall. I know how long that can take and how bad you feel. Something I've done in the past--get one of the older kids to wrap your gifts. (a good secret keeper, not a blabber!) I once paid a teen from church to wrap all the packages. I don't really enjoy that part and that year I just didn't have the extra time. It was worth it, to me, to pay her a few dollars and she did a marvelous job. They were beautiful. (I never do them up fancy. She did.) There were ribbons, bows, and candy canes. So creative.
After nephew learns fingerprinting is he going to "dust" the house when someone takes the last cookie??
