I have been trying Oyster for ebooks, the IOS app. There are a lot more selections than the website shows. I wonder when Amazon will jump on the bandwagon with a similar plan?

It's a great time for bookworms to be alive!

Hasn't Oyster been around for a while? I thought I saw something about it when I first started hanging around this forum (2010 - when I bought my KK).

Isn't this still in Beta test by invitation?

I don't recall seeing the word Beta, however, what does it really mean anymore? Apple sends out an update to IOS and then fixes the bugs and I won't mention Microsoft. Oyster works well, I haven't had issues, but seems like they are very responsive to Facebook questions.

Just Peachy says:
There are huge differences in Beta and Production. Beta hasn't been fully developed and tested. It's almost impossible to create a large scale application that has NO bugs.

Yes, it is.

King Al says:
The major publishers HATE Amazon. Amazon will have a much harder time getting the cooperation of major publishers than Oyster.
