I have a very screwed up one yr/4mo old Kindle 3G. I've had nothing but problems for the last month or so. It's basically unreadable. After trying every rememdy known to man, numereous restarts, de-registering/registring, unpluging/plugging in router ... whatever else I could think of ... yesterday I called customer service.
Now I admit I know very little about Kindles but I sure knew more than the kid I spoke to. The list is long on everything he said that even I knew was wrong, but today I'll call again, hopefully getting someone who might be able to help.
I guess what I'm wondering is, are most of their reps trained well enough to actually answer questions? Or at the least not give out totally inaccurate info? Or is getting someone who is totally incompentent , like the dufus I ended up with, more or less the norm?
