I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. Are you asking if you can delete books from your Kindle? The answer is yes. Or are you asking if Amazon can remove the books on your Kindle? They can and did in the past with a book that was being sold illegally. Amazon removed those books from everyone's account and refunded their money. Because some people got so upset over it, Amazon said they wouldn't do that again. Although I think they did the right thing because the person that uploaded those books did not have the right to sell them.

Now, if you want to know more, we need to know more (can't read your mind ya know ;-) ). For example, which Kindle do you have? There are many different models available and they often work differently.

I have the Kindle Fire and just want to remove books that I've already read from it. That way I don't have to scroll thru all the books when I'm searching for ones that I haven't read yet.
