How do you transfer a movie from computer to kindle fire using a USB? Is any movie on amazon fair game or are there specific kindle movies?

Chelsea - Just download them or stream them from the Cloud. You can watch any Amazon video on your Fire.

You can't transfer Amazon videos downloaded for Unbox from your PC to your Fire. On the video product pages it says you cannot transfer them to portable devices. That includes the Fire.

Look under the big orange 'shop all departments' tab top left. The first category is Unlimited Instant Videos. Its first subcategory is 'Prime Instant Videos' where you will find all the titles available to stream at no additional cost if you are a paying Prime member. The next tab explains the Amazon Prime Program. The third tab, 'Amazon Instant Video Store' shows all titles that are available for digital streaming or download from Amazon. It is not every movie or tv show ever made and the list changes constantly as rights holders enter and leave contracts.

This does not workout for me. I get an unable to transfer to my Kindle because I am not in United States. I have my unbox videos already purchased and downloaded on my PC. There surely must be a way to move the videos from the PC to the Kindle?

A. Dietz says:
Chelsea, that's correct, you need to download it directly to your Kindle Fire.

A. Dietz says:
Tanya, did you read Pineapple's post above yours? Unbox specifically prohibits moving movies to a portable device, so surely there is not a way to do what you want to do.
