Oh, I'm sure there will still be dropped bananas for Archiecat. :)

they agree :)

BTW, I tried putting Ninja in a carrier in our bedroom last night, but after a while it was agitating Galadriel too much to not be able to get to him. So after a feeding, they got to spend the rest of the night in the real cage.

awww....one of my previous tenants (his building was transferred to another manager) just called to tell me how much more he likes me than his new manager and asked me to take his building back :D

It's nice to be wanted haha

I'm having a dumb moment - Mobile Reference sent me two free ebooks. They are .prc files. I dl'ed them and transferred them via USB to my KT but I want to put them on my KF. I hooked it up via USB and dragged them into the books folder, but they're not showing up on the device. What am I doing wrong?

What high praise, Jamie! (And remember, I work in property management, so I *KNOW* what a compliment that is!)

yes, he is definitely in a VERY small minority of tenants who like me ;) But the grass is always greener, right?

Look under documents. I have several books that show that way.

Not positive, but I believe you're supposed to drop them in the 'documents' folder on the Fire, just like on the Kindle. There is a thread on the forum about this - somewhere! Sorry I can't be more specific than that... I've never sideloaded a book to the Fire (though I'm going to have to in the next week or so!) :-S

Trisha, you're a genius =)
They weren't there initially, but instead of books I dragged them over to docs and there they were! (Silly me for putting the books in the BOOKS folder, right?? hahaha)

Thanks for the tip!

ooooh sideloaded. I feel so technical LOL ... and by technical, I mean hopeless.

You must be a good property manager if your tenants don't like you. ;) I think property management is sort of like parenting: if the "kids" like you too much, you're doing something wrong!

Jamester says:
lol... you might be right. I've learned that tenants are pretty much never happy in NY - I've rented apartments for $14,000 per month to $600 per month and it's always complaint after complaint.
