Lenora thank you so much for your message on FB today. It was wonderful to know that I had been remembered in this thread. You guys are awesome.

I'm in the middle of moving house at the moment, you can imagine the stress involved in that with a 75 year old mother to care for. :-)

You've all brighten my day with your kindness. Have a fantastic holiday weekend and I'll promise to drop by again soon. ♥

I have what I think is Melissa's email (if people don't give their forum name when they email me, I am clueless) and emailed her at least a couple of weeks ago, saying that we were worried and hoping she would be able to at least fly through and post something. I did not get a response.

sunshineangel, you ONLY have 600-odd books? We have failed in our duty to you!

Hey, yall...didn't want to go to bed without sending prayers out to Reader, her BF and babies, Melissa, Sunshineangel and her family.....and just to all of you, and the whole wide world. A great quote I read once that I send my prayers out to: "to all who wait, and weep and watch tonite."

Sweet dreams everyone....

You're welcome! I hope you enjoy it! Mel Comley is a good author and I agree that her books are reasonably priced. :-)

Thank you for noting The Cynningwydd in your list and so early in the day: I believe "sales" really began to pick up at that point, reaching 139 by the end of my one day promotion. althair.

GIve us a chance to read it first, then maybe you will see some reviews!

In reply to an earlier post on May 27, 2012 6:48:19 AM PDT
This topic is more appropriate for the Meet Our Authors forum.
We are not responsible for your decision to put your book up for free. The people in this thread are some of the most prolific reviewers but demanding their attention will backfire and if your book was on their TBR list, it is apt to get removed and maybe read in a year or two.

ABout series - thank you - but just saw "Blame it on the Mistletoe" and found it is the 4th in a series. Luckily, the 1st review mentioned that little fact. That's not always the case.

How to create an account. When I went there using your link, I found I was already signed in. Updated my profile, and looked around. Saw several of your edits (?), the series you had on 'Mistletoe' - no place did I see 'How to create an account'.

You already have an account if you are signed in.
Do a search for nospin on the search bar changing the options from books to members and you will find me.

@westcoaster,
I'm not the Shay with the ear infections.
Hope she's doing okay.

I have no way of finding you without your member name and since shelfari is global even with a name it is hard to find people.
I have no idea why my name is easiest to locate amongst the admins but that is how it has worked out. If you click on the grey Follow me under my profile pic, I will invite you into the group.

(assuming I can recognize your name there otherwise post a note to me so I know who you are. We keep the group private so negative nellies and authors don't get in)

I was thinking of getting a gift when the $20 coupon and the $49 deal was offered. How would this purchase be made????????

Be cautious Mame. It is not like you are at the flea market and can register it to make sure things work. I am not sure what warranty would apply.

Given all the sales on KKs and the basic and the big price drops on covers, I think we will see a new Kindle announced in July/August.

In reply to an earlier post on May 27, 2012 9:37:23 AM PDT
Dear Nospin, I did not mean to offend or demand anyone's attention. I was reacting to Ritz writing, "Re series: I'm afraid if I buy -actually spend hard cold cash for a book--part two/three of a book, I won't stop; I'll keep on one-clicking and by gob-smacked when I get my credit card bill. I need WON'T power :) Though $2.99 is cheaper than a movie...." and surprised at the idea that paying for books was problematic. I also had no idea that there were many prolific reviewers on this site, which I'm new to; I had in a previous post expressed gratitude for the fact that my book was listed under new fantasy. Anyway, apologies to all if I've yet to get the lay of the land here. althair
