Maybe if I just install Chrome and try Nospin's URL. Be right back (hopefully).

That worked. Now, how do I transfer those books to my K4PC so that I can uninstall Cloud Reader?

I'll have to check this later. Thanks for the help.

@N. Podaci
Thanks for all the info on the Roku... still discussing with SO whether we'll get it or not, but your information certainly helped me answer his questions. I can't believe how fast technology moves these days, it doesn't take long at all to get out of the loop!

When you look at your WishList, the default is for it to come up with Show:Unpurchased and Sort:Date Added (top right of the actual list header). On the Show drop-down menu, you can select Purchased or All, to see if there are items you've purchased that remain on the list. I routinely change the Sort on my WishList to sort by price, and no longer have to wait for the ereaderiq notice about price drops.

I got lots of yellow banners today (hurray!), and most have been mentioned, but I thought I'd mention this one that I haven't seen posted yet:
Book of Mercy by Sherry Roberts
A town banning books.
One woman stands against the censors--and she can't read. Can she win?
There's more worth fighting for than you can ever imagine.

Thank you so much for sending the well wishes my way. I admit to having a fear of them returning. The pain in my eye was unbearable.
I hope your SIL doesn't have any more episodes of shingles again. My heart goes out to her.

BJ - have you tried Kindle for PC - you can use it on IE. I got rid of Chrome, Google was storing my passwords and use it as an option to send books to instead of the actual Fire. There's a lot of stuff about it with an install link - second one on left - here:

Hope this helps and hope you get a good night's sleep and can just start over tomorrow feeling good! ((hug))

Julia, Maybe I missed you here. I went for dinner then TV.
I got my KindleFire In November with most other people, and have over 1000 books now. I read about 3-4 a week and delete them, then get 8-10 the next day. LOL
I am so glad you found this thread. It is friendly and helpful and nice. I feel so at home here.
Hope to talk to you again soon

I learned something new tonight that others probably knew. Last night we tried for half an hour to get a HBOtoGo series to start and play. It kept reloading. After awhile, we gave up. We tried again this evening with the same result.
Tonight I thought we should reset the Roku...pull the plug. So my husband pulled out the small plug to the Roku...waited 15 seconds and plugged it back in. We watched two shows then with no problems.
It seems it is always the old fashioned solutions that work..when in doubt, reboot.

Unknown about the unclaimed launch. I haven't read all of the posts today, so I don't know if there was information about the launch or not. I believe it has been blank for a while.

Ketta, I'm not sure that there is anyone but us to figure things out. Unless someone steps up, I'd say this is your launch if you want it. I'll be Wing.

Hi Cinder.

eReader is showing 258. (258 books - updated at 12:40 am PDT)

Totally agree about the new link. Takes all the struggle out of it. Makes it easier to go find the end of the new books too.

Your post made me think of my mother. She always sent us off to bed with "Tomorrow is another day."
When she had enough of our nonsense she didn't say "Knock it off!" She said, " Enough is sufficient." lol
