I had several - one of the Mighty Brights and others and he lost them . Hence why I was trying alternate lights.

It can be tough with his Aspergers to know what goes on in his brain. ;(

Yes - the lights tend to get replaced if they require coin batteries.

Maybe the lighted cover would work well for him. You could always return it if you didn't like it, no?

Yes but I am waiting to see how much I can get him to use the kindle as opposed to the Samsung Galaxy 5.0 Android MP3 Player

I prefer him to use ereader at night so we'll have to see how he likes the first case and order the other if he wants.

If he likes to read, he will probably love the Kindle once he gets used to using it. It will be a big change from the backlighting, but he might find it more relaxing.

Hi Everyone, I was told by a member from another discussion group to look here for anyone that knows books similar to The Help. The Kitchen House, The Crossroads Cafe or the Woman of Magnolia. I loved them all. If I am in the wrong place please excuse me, I am new to Kindle.
Thank you all,

@Mame - somebody posted the link up above on the thread. You should just be able to click that and see it. If you're clicking the link and not seeing it, then tell me what you do see and I'll try to help you fix it.

Good morning Grandma
I should love to know that recipe so would you share please?
Which flour is it? Will it work with the range of flours suitable for GF?

Good Morning Celestial Kitty....
It is a common old phrase and I think it must be giving away our ages as it seems to be out of common parlance!
It is not that children used to make mud pies, eat worms and other things (no fine toys then) and so madd their own amusement but actually there is a lot to be said for SOME building of immunity. Things can be too sanitised and also antibiotics used for the slightest things. You will know the problems this has caused. (Nurse here)
We have our own well water, deep, clear, steained by layers of rock, and sweet. Many have said what lovely water it is. Some have taken away the odd bottle too! We do not have the chemicals thankfully and I enjoy drinking water here. It tastes disgusting in the towns. I think that cannot be good for people surely?

Good morning Mieko
What a lovely name!
I too come from the dark ages, still live therd and have been attempting to do this part of modern life. I have very mixedcsuccess and I have been trying for a while.
I am not unintelligent but I am old and forgetful and so.... it is often 2 steps backwards and only one forward.
Beware of me! You tell me something and I forget! I am not uninterested, rude or stupid merely a struggling dollop!

Good morning "Emerald Coast
I remember struggling with about 5-6 books and being really fed up. I always left them abroad so others could have something. I considered it space for my purchases (holiday presents).

I will tell you that I find a lot of American terminology unintelligible. I love our differences, find them interesting and often enquire about them.
It is one of the extra pleasures of going abroad. I see and hear really different things and learn much about others'way of life.
Being on my kindle is like travelling abroad from my armchair as I visit sites, galleries, recipes, and read the language usages. I take an interest in world news too.
