Just Peachy says:
Son said the problem with Chuck playing volleyball with ham is that Chuck would not get the ball back across the net. Well he probably would once it was without ham.

Beth says:
Most dogs I know would eat the ball and the ham.

I understand the term the "agony of defeat" earlier when I watched a few of the women divers do a belly flop from the tower....OUCH!!!!!

A Carla Olympic Observation...

Maybe the horses wouldn't be stepping in the water jump if you put some piranah in the water...just saying

I speed watched 45 hours of Olympic coverage from my DVR in 6 hours yesterday. What does that say about the coverage once one cuts out volleyball, water polo and commercials?

Thank you, Old A New Shade of Gray Everyday Rocker!

My shade of gray is blonde and it's gonna be while I still have the strength to get to my hairdresser. ;-)

I just tell people that I'm actually 19 years old but I have that disease that makes you old prematurely....I get lots of sympathy and stuffed animals that way....

Thanks, Dorsie! I picked myself up a lovely fruit tart. It's a sugar crust lined with chocolate, covered with a creamy sweet custard and topped with strawberries, kiwis, blueberries and mandarin oranges. It's very pretty and will be refreshing after the monster dinner I have simmering on the stove. ;-)

Who the heck is the old guy on the jump just before the water jump...I think he's spooking the horses...he's certainly spooking me!

How about volleyball with Chihuahuas running around trying to pull off those skimpy shorts by biting them on the butt whilst trying to get the ball over the net? This would require about 3 dozen dogs. Does Chuck have any friends?

That NBC's coverage and number of commercial breaks blow?

In reply to an earlier post on Aug 8, 2012 4:20:02 PM PDT
I'd probably have to go with 35 to get away with that. I don't think anyone would buy 19 anymore...

That might be interesting - murder mystery at 800 feet.

I just watched last night's 5 hours in less than one hour. Son said he tried to watch some of the Olympics and got bored. I explained the record and fast forward method.

OH, that sounds interesting. Chuck does the jump and nip very well. I'm sure we can round up some chi friends.
