it means, push the button on your fire that says web, then go down to the bottom and click on the middle icon there, then click on settings down there on the right...then click on enable flash and push always on...done!

You need to upgrade to the flash player 11. To do this, since the Kindle app store won't let you download it without connecting to the site (which you cannot), go to onlyandroid.com on your Kindle (This is an alternate app site that doesn't restrict what you download); they have a free install of flash 11 and you can download it straight to your Kindle. I really needed the upgrade to play siriusxm on my Kindle and this was what I needed. It is located under free apps on page 3 if using your Kindle. Hope this helps! http://onlyandroid.mobihand.com/product.asp?id=91346

I should add that if you do successfully get flash 11 from the Kindle app store it will probably do what it did to me. After an hour of tinkering, it downloaded - to my android cell phone! What good does that do? onlyandroid.com will save you much frustrating time and effort.

Thank you all so much. Reading this solved the problem. This device is cheap and properly priced for what you get. I may give up and go to IPad yet.

Hi--did you get your xm radio to play on your kindle fire? If so, would you tell me how you did. I have been trying will no luck as it says to download the last flash edition. But when I try that, it doesn't open. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes, you just need to upgrade flash by first allowing outside apps to be installed under settings, then visit onlyandroid.com and download the latest flash from there. Make sure flash is enabled under settings also. Worked for me. I was unable to upgrade flash from the kindle app market or the flash website, this was the only way I found to upgrade to the latest version which allowed sirius xm to work.

So, I went to this website and was redirected to a letter that said they had decided to close the site. Do you have any other ideas? They only problem I've noticed on my KF is ABC network shows won't play.

can u add flash to the new kindle fire hd??

My flash is set to always on and I was happily watching Pbs videos. Today it suddenly demanded adobe flash 11. I checked my settings and while it says flash player is On the box to the right side is not checked and. No matter how many times I recheck On it stays neutral. Ive checked it and turned it off then on to no avail.

In reply to an earlier post on Sep 29, 2012 6:57:20 PM PDT
@Raysfan: Only by sideloading a browser that supports Flash and then sideloading Flash.

do these steps also work for the new kindle fire HD, because flash isnt working and i tried going into the menu on the web but i dont see and "enable flash" at all. Does anyone else have this problem or know how i can enable flash, if the new one even comes with flash?
