I've installed both Dolphin ans Flash. They work great. I did set Dolphin as me default for video to allow Flash to work. How to I change that so I choose either silk or dolphin?

M. Ratcheson says:
Swipe down from the top, to reveal the quick settings. Tap More, then Applications. Then tap Installed Applications, and scroll down to Dolphin Browser and tap that. If there is an entry under the "Launch by default" section, try tapping Clear Defaults.

That is SO not true. If it voided your warranty would Amazon have given you a place where you could opt to download apps from other places?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 1, 2012 5:21:30 PM PST
Gema - That's completely incorrect. Please do not go around scaring folks with that nonsense.

Rooting your device will void your warranty, but simply installing 3rd-party apps will not.

So everyone here with years of experience with kindles is wrong in your view.

For any rational person reading this, sideloading apps doesnot void your warranty. Sideloading and rooting are not the same thing.

Posted on Dec 1, 2012 9:12:43 PM PST
Correct. Amazon would not give you the ability to sideload apps if it voided your warranty.
