Tink-erbell: I know, I know! Take a picture of each page of the book on your Kindle with your digital camera, then you can read the book on your digital camera. Be sure to wear your super-duper magnifying glasses because the print is going to be really really tiny.

Only if the camera has 3G.

My camera has 7G. It's lightening fast.

Tammid! Now camera websites are going to be overrun with posters asking how to turn on their camera's wifi!

Mine didn't come with wi-fi, just free 7G. It's a bit of a disappointment, really. I feel I deserve more.

Actually, I just bought a new SD card, so it now has 32G(B)... so that should be even better, eh?

That means it should include TTS.

I've been taking wonderful pics with the camera on my Fire ! Its awesome ! The3G enables me to use my Fire anywhere.I also love the Skype and GPS function. What a great device for only $199.Oh, and I get great reception from HBOgo.Maybe the rest of you haven"t read your manual or got a defective device.

LOL, you're bad. Are you also taking advantage of the Bluetooth capabilities?

Kristasgram says:
Oh - Bluetooth - of course ! Forgot to mention that ! Of course, with all the other things the Fire does for the price, I guess it skipped my mind

I assume you're also plugging your Fire into your TV so you can watch streaming videos? That's the part I'm enjoying most, plus the Skype video calls to my son in Australia.

Tinker-bella says:
Not to mention that the free 3g is awesome for streaming and downloading movies, and the free books on Prime are pretty sweet as well...

I enjoy using my Fire as a GPS device. It sits on my dash and keeps me from getting lost while driving, and there are so many wonderful navigation apps at iTunes!

A. Dietz says:
I find that mounting it on the dash blocks my view, so I have it hanging from on my air conditioner vents. I switch back and forth from GPS mode to watching streaming videos with the high-speed 3G connection while I'm driving.

Tinker-bella says:
Oh, but the drawback would be that the rear facing camera would be blocked, and you wouldn't be able to capture video while on the road using the dashcam app!

Tink-erbell, I guess there's always a tradeoff with so many functions to balance.
