Good morning. The nominated books are in the third and fourth posts on Page 2. I just checked the prices and none have changed.
I suggest everyone should grab K - The Philanthropist's Danse, because it is still free and is leading the vote.

Okay, okay, I took The Philanthropist's Dance, even though I didn't wanna - it sounds like a repeat plot to me - but hey, all you people can't be wrong. Just don't know if I will get it read for the discussion or not. The reviewers seem to really like it. What do I know?

Yeah, I skipped on it the first time that it was offered, and was going to skip it again, but when it came up as a nomination here, I figured, what the hey! And I picked it up, too. I'm hopeful that the book is better than its description -- and actually, the sample read pretty well.

Thank you to everyone who voted, and to everyone who nominated a book.

The Philanthropist's Danse will be our book for June 7, in a landslide. It didn't hurt that it's been free the last few days! 25 people voted, and 19 of those voted for this book (first, second, or third choice.)

The First Excellence finished a distant second, and Alaskan Fire was just one point after that.

Our next discussion will be How Not To Run A B&B on May 24.

Ahhh procrastination does not pay off... too late to vote is the Alaskan Fire the first in the series? Maybe keep that in mind for the next election?
