Hmm, you're in a right state, Tui. I suppose you won't want bacon and eggs done on the barbie when you wake up? :-)

So, shall we talk about kindles while partying?

Today's Kindle Daily Deal at 99 cents is Stealing Trinity by Ward Larsen. I gave it 4 stars and this description in a review:

"This is an intriguing WWII espionage thriller about a German spy attempting to get information about the development of the atomic bomb from a mole in the Manhattan Project team. Set towards the end of the war it is a thrilling race by a German spy to steal the secrets of the bomb in time to use them in the war....While it is not the greatest WWII espionage thriller, it is a good and satisfying page turner."

For 99 cents it's worth a try.

We've save a glass of Moet for you and some strawberries, Tui.

OK, Suncoast.

I'll put them up sometime over the weekend. I need to add a few more to the list before I do.

Once I do I might even link to them from the Indie FAQ.

Got any frozen buzz bars? No, on second thoughts I just want to munch on a Pixie Caramel.

Crispy bacon? Count me in!

I'll whip up some french toast as well with lots of sweet spices. I've got some awesome maple syrup from Vermont to go with it. Don't ask how it got in to Aus. though!

Hey all. Need you to to stop eating an drinking as I need some help! :)

I've just logged on to my uni web thingamabob, and there are LOADS of readings I can do in e-format. Now, has anyone had any experience with Adobe digital editions and getting them on to Kindles? I've downloaded a particular book on Ancient Rome, but it only has a 24 viewing thing. Now, I'd like to be able to do a dodgy and keep it for a while longer, and put it on my kindle if I can.

Any thoughts?

Yes, Loz. Check out tarots and tarradiddles, it's all explained step by step there.

Is there any other sort of bacon, Julie?

Need some sugar-free French toast too, if "sugar-free" and "French" aren't an oxymoron :-)

Tui, here are two Panadol and a large bottle of water. Get that inside you, then come into the other room, away from the BBQ smells, and have some lovely french toast with maple syrup.

JJulieJ says:
Why do you need sugar-free French toast? Virtual sugar has no calories and doesn't give you sugar shock. Enjoy!

Actually I rarely put sugar in French toast, just egg, milk and spices. I don't like much sugar myself, although I'm not fanatical about it.

glug glug glug, Water is great for dry horrors. Maple syrup yum. Thinks Julie. I promise I'll never drink again.
But what about in Frankfurt where they eat nothing but frankfurters and drink nothing but bier?

*staggering out the door holding head, heading for home and bed. Maple syrup all over face. Still burping and hiccuping occasionally.*

Um, because when you've been sugar-free for 18+ years the taste habit is so ingrained that even virtual sugar is too sweet :-)

Tui, look for some Reibekuchen (potato cakes) at street stalls. Also potato or cheese croquettes (kroketten). You'll find good coffee in Germany but not necessarily espresso.

Fair enough! Try this sugar-free French toast. Hmm, I guess you can't have maple syrup with it either. Here's a dish of creme fraiche, it should go well, and there are some berries in the fridge.

Oh, I live dangerously. I put about 3 drops of (real) maple syrup on an 8" crepe and that's too sweet :-) But I'm happy with F.T. just plain.
