Daniel, did you get an answer to this question? I'm not able to read my books unless I'm in an active wifi area. And every time I am, it has to download again. Any suggestions?

Hello. I haven't been able to read my downloaded books unless I'm in an active wifi area. Any suggestions? They are graphic novels, with pictures (kind of like comic books). When I click on the book icon when I'm not in wifi, it looks like it tries to download again but won't open. Help please!

Long press on the title and select Delete. They'll show up on your Cloud list under books but won't actually be on your device.

I got my Kindle Fire a few days ago, and last night I hooked it up to my pc to tranfer some digital photos to the Kindle. I copied the photos to a Picture folder on the Kindle, but when I disconnected the Kindle and went to look for the pix, I could not find any photos or a Picture folder. Did I miss something when I transferred the pix over or did I not do it correctly?

AB, Are you sure that they're books and not apps? (I'm assuming you're using a Kindle Fire)

Either that or I'd guess you're reading them from the cloud reader and not on your device.

It appears that my screen is leaking? Well I have a small spot in the middle of it and if you try to clean it it drags and then shrinks. I can see it's under the glass. I know it wasn't dropped, beaten, etc. How do I get this handled??

My Kindle Fire ia only about 6 months old, and I love it. However, it stopped working....I was using it upstairs in my house, it was fine. I came downstairs, and it died. I am not sure what is going on. It doesn't respond to the charger (no light goes on), it does not turn on when I hold the power button, it doesn't do anything. All I have is a black screen...please help!

A security warning keeps popping up when I get on the web. I tried resetting is a bunch of times but it keeps coming back. Even if I click "stop loading" or "ignore" it keeps popping up for at least 4 more times. What should I do?

No Internet Connection error: My Kindle Fire won't locate any wireless connections. I am able to see my wireless connection on other devices, but the Kindle Fire isn't locating any wireless. I've clicked on the gear in the upper right corner and pressed the Wi-Fi option. When I click on Wi-Fi, the Wireless Networking automatically moves from Off to On. (Every time.) I am not able to turn it off automatically, nor does it stay turned on. When I click the Amazon.com web page again, I get the same error message with no internet connection. Can anyone help me with this issue, please?

I've just got a Kindle Fire. Can anyone tell me how to put things into the document folder? When I email something (a pdf file) to my kindle email address it arrives on my Kindle in the Carousel but not the docs folder. The only options it then gives me are; add to favourites, remove from carousel and remove from device. I don't want to remove it, I want to store it and hundreds more like it in a folder where I can then browse and choose what to read. I've tried emailing, copy and past via USB and the stupid cloud thing (which dosn't seem to actually relate to the kindle either) It's very frustrating, what am I doing wrong?

I have had a Kindle Fire for almost a year. I have not had any difficulty linking to WiFi either in my home or in other locations. This morning the Kindle screen indicated that the web was not available. I know it is available since I am not having an issue with my laptop. I have tried to reset my WiFi link by turning it off on the Kindle and then entering the password. The screen indicates that the router is connected to the Kindle but the WiFi signal indicator in the upper right corner has a small x over it (I assume this means there is not connection). For some reason I am unable to find any settings that will deal with this issue. ANY THOUGHTS ?????????
