il am very disappointed with kindle service, i purchase my kindle fire december 2011 and within a month in a halof i started having problem with the connection and adapter the device would not charge, now it a
ppears the port that the adapter connects to is loose. i called and got nowhere except to say take it back to where i purchase it with the warranty ulin return the store tells me kindle should honour it because it is a defect. contacted kindle again and i could not get an address from them. i am very disappointed. all the games, books, and music not to mention the cost of the kindle and i can't even get a replacement, come on! whats the sense in having the warranty and everyone keeps passing the buck.

Ignore the light and charge for 4 hours. Remove from the charger and hold the power button in for 30 seconds. Time them. After 30 seconds, release the button and then press once briefly. Your Fire should reboot. Hope this works. In the future try to avoid running the battery out completely. This information may be helpful.

My kindle fire will not charge. The charger will no longer fit securely in the port. Also if I post in facebook, the keyboard does not always appear. If it does, the section where I type, constantly scrolls with each keystroke. What is wrong?

I never ran the battery down completely. I put it on the charger on night & when I woke up, it was not charged. As I said, the charger will not fit securely in the port. The red light will not come on. Any other advice? Please help:-(

I bought my husband a Kindle; for some reason, he is no longer getting a picture. The kindle backlight comes on and the power light is green but there is no picture. I am going to try the reboot to see of if works; but if anyone knows what is going on, I would really appreciate some help.

Rogue says:
L.P. Cox: I know you've tried rebooting up to a minute but try this method before contacting customer service. It may just work!
Reboot
Always start with a full charge of at least 4 hours, ignoring the charge indicator light.
When fully charged unplug from the charger(very important step)
Hold the power button in for a full 30 seconds, time them(also very important) Ignore the shutdown request screen.
After 30 seconds, release the button and then press it again once briefly. (Important step as well) Your Fire will begin restarting in a few moments.
If it fails to reboot, contact customer service. Here is a link:

Mary: Since the reboot procedure didn't help, it sounds like it's time for you to contact customer service. Under phone use the "call me" feature if available. They will call you back within minutes. Here's a link:

My Kindle Fire is not charging. I put my cable in and nothing happens. It's been like this since yesterday. I suspect something's wrong with the inside of the Kindle Fire. Does anyone have advice on what I should do.
