you left out Spain and Italy - anyway, have a little patience, the release to the international stores was only a couple of weeks after the international release of the Kindle Touch (last time was the world, then the stores and I had to wait)

We in India have lost hope. No clue when pw will be released here. :-)

If I upgrade to the kindle white 3g from regular kindle will I b able to transfer all my books from my old kindle to the new one?

CBRetriever says:
as long as you register it to the same account that your current kindle is registered to, you'll have access to all the books bought by or transferred through the account via the archives/cloud

Still nothing in Australia. I know we are a small country but I'm closing down all those spy bases if you don't do something soon.

Too late for me: I bought the new Kobo Glo from the Fnac french store, and it is amazing. I am glad I made the move to Kobo!

The same here. :) The kobo glo is really nice! I really got tired of waiting for bits of information from amazon.

yes, why not? I'm considering mini for myself. Amazon sucks!

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 6, 2012 2:27:42 AM PST
amazon.fr ships PW only in FR

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 6, 2012 2:28:07 AM PST

Got my kindle PW from amazon.it and I'm totally satisfied with it. :)
For those that are threatening to use an iPad mini, look guys, i'm an apple fan, but for reading kindle is the best on the block.
Backlighted lcd displays are quite good if you plan to read little, but try to read a book for three hours then let us know how your eyes are feeling...

How does the Kobo Glo compare with K. paperwhite?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 23, 2012 5:11:54 AM PST
It's better to ask this question over at www.mobileread.com.
Since this is a Kindle forum you won't find many people who have tried the Kobo here.

For what it's worth, I'm on my third blotchy Kindle, and my first and only Kobo Glo is excellent.

I live in Australia & I've just got a Kindle Paperwhite. I very generously got it as a "gift" for a friend in America! It's fantastic - I think I'm in love!
