How do I delete books off of my kindle fire but want them still on my kindle 3 HELP??

have a kindle 3 and the books transferred over to the kindle fire but when i click on the book on fire it downloads but i want to delete some books on the fire but i want them still on my kindle 3 please tell me how to delete from fire but keep them on m y kindle 3 HELP??

Just delete them from the Fire, it won't remove them from your K3.

Sounds like you're viewing the 'cloud' tab, and not 'device'. If you look at 'cloud' on the fire you're seeing the same thing as your archive on the K3 - books on your account available for downloading, but not yet physically on that particular device.

It will still show on the cloud portion of your Fire but only for download. The cloud is like the archive list on your K3. The books aren't on the device but you can easily download them if you want.

ok you are right i was in the cloud tab i moved 2 of my books from kindle 3 to kindle fire and it said on amazon they are pending til i turn my fire on which i did but they arent in the device tab so how do i get those in the device tab
