Hitler's Berlin: The Irish Aristocracy in the Seventeenth Century

I'm a WW2 buff but after reading about this book, I can only assume someone messed up the title. Just when you think WW2 had been totally examined, someone brings up a new connection!

How is this Amazon's goof? The publishers list their own books.

Making Ireland English: The Irish Aristocracy in the Seventeenth Century is also available for pre-order. Probabaly the source of the wayward subtitle.

That seems likely, as they are from the same publisher.

Looks like it, or how the publisher passed the info. If you're interested there is a blue box at the bottom of the detail page listing several different feedback options.

Probably a buffer-clear error. I reported it to Amazon. They'll fix the title.

Thanks for the tip of reporting it - I also reported it. Just trying to think how those two subjects could be the subject of one book was giving me a headache!

Hitler was descended from the O'Hitler family in Dublin, but when they moved to Bavaria, they dropped the "O" to avoid being persecuted :)

Well, the subjects are related now. I saw it on the interweb, so it must be true.
