I have an Ipad mini and I have been using the Kindle app to borrow Kindle books however now my books are all going to the Kindle Cloud Reader. In the past, I have been able to download a kindle book as if I were on a Kindle device. How can I download a book from the cloud reader without having to be connected to a wi-fi connection?

Not quite sure what you mean by "borrow Kindle books"?

Do you mean purchase Kindle books?

You should be able to select your iPad as the device to send the book to when you purchase it.

You have to have a Wi-Fi or cell connection in order to download books to your iPad. It's that way for the Kindle too, unless you transfer the book via usb, so I'm not sure why you think that you don't have to be connected.

After contacting Amazon I found out my device wasn't registered. The problem has been fixed.
