Today there are new Paperwhite guides in many languages in my Manage your Kindle. This indicates either an update or my purchase of a new Paperwhite. Since I already have versions 1 and 2, it isn't a purchase. If anyone knows where to download a new update, I would love to know

I saw they are on mine which is enroute - I don't want those on there - anybody have any idea how to remove them

They're dictionaries. If you remove them they'll just come back with the next update. Leave them be, and they'll work their way to the bottom of your MYK list.

They are guides, not dictionaries. The only way they come back is when (a) you get a new Kindle device or (b) when one of your devices gets an upgrade. It is this last which I asked about in my original post. I delete mine except for the Italian one which I read part of to see which Kindle it applied to, and it was the paperwhite.

they're both guides and dictionaries and you can remove them, but then you'll just have to do it again when the next update comes around and again when the next update comes around (I've seen 4-5 updates in a year sometimes)

That's fine. I don't mind removing them as often as it takes. I prefer to just see my real books.
