WHAT?

Seriously... before you post, read the sentence you type back to yourself. Honestly, perfection isn't necessary, but what language is this written in?

Here's the NYT article:

It is indeed about the daily Deal which can be found at the link that Dittie provided above.

My comment was not self-promotion! I am not Steve Weber and my only connection with Kindle Buffet is as a satisfied user.

Interesting - for once I'm seeing real prices listed there

makes the "deals" kinda ridiculous as I'm seeing books under the Monthly Deals: Kindle Books for $3.99 or Less that are shown as being as much as $17.89 (Leonard Cohen book)

Daily Deals still have their US prices, though and when I click, the price is usually higher

Thanks, Colin. I was reluctant to click on the link posted by Dittie, but found the Times article quickly after reading your post.

There seem to be quite a few sites that provide low cost or free e-books. I've been very happy with Kindle Buffet, but will try BookBub.com that was mentioned in the Times article.

My favorite is eReaderIQ, but I also use BookBub and BookGorilla. There are numerous others.
