Kindle fire Hdx 7 Blank home screen

Ok, so i got a kindle fire hdx from a summer program literally yesterday. between that time and now i used it alot. When i woke up this morning i installed an app and then i restarted my kindle. When it booted up the lock screen and everything worked fine but when i unlocked it it went to a blank screen. now the only things i can do is power off, go into safe mode, and unlock my kindle. i tried alot of things and none worked like holding the power button down for twenty to thirty seconds, Remote factory reset from the amazon "my devices tab" but nothing worked. Can anyone help please??

If you've tried the reset (30-second power button hold), and it still didn't wake up, it's time to call Customer Service and have them troubleshoot with you.

It was Nova Launcher, I read up on some things and it said that you were able to have different home launcher apps, simillar to android. So i wanted to try it out :/

Side load i guess. But i had the apk file before on my phone and it works perfectly.

It may not be compatible with the Fire.

You could try deleting your app on your computer on the manage your content and devices page. That's worth a try.
