We are headed to AK and want to take my digital camera and download pictures to my kindle/facebook. How can I do that? Is there an adapter from a USB that will allow this?

You can use something like this:

Eye-fi app:
Eye-Fi

Eye-fi wireless SD cards:

Eye-fi compatible cameras:

You can also use a wireless card reader to move photos from a flash drive or SD card to the Fire without a computer like this one:

Kingston Digital MobileLite Wireless Flash Reader for Smartphones and Tablets (MLW221)

You also need to install the companion app on your Fire:

Kingston MobileLite
