Is this the 1st gen Fire? If so, you need to enable Flash under web settings. If a 2nd gen Fire, Flash is no longer supported by the Silk browser. You'd need to download a browser with Flash support, like Dolphin.

As I understand it, Adobe no longer supports Flash for any Android device. There are multiple threads on work arounds. I suggest using the search box to the right. Be sure to uncheck "search only this discussion"

because Adobe no longer supports/updates/allows their product for android based devices.

Go ask Adobe.

Sandy - You can manually download Flash and a Flash compatible web browser on your Fire HD. Here are the instructions:

To install Flash: (You have to have a Flash compatible browser in order to install Flash. You can't install it under Silk.)

Do the following on the Fire / Fire HD itself:

Swipe down from the top > More > Device > Allow Installation of Applications.

Download and install the Dolphin Browser and Flash Player .apk files from these links:

*Dolphin Browser version 9.2.0:
http://apps.goodereader.com/android-apps/internet-and-communication/?did=5049

*Flash Player for ICS version 11.1:
http://apps.goodereader.com/android-apps/essential-android-tablet-applications/?did=173

Once both files are downloaded to your Fire, on the Home screen of your Fire, swipe from the top and tap on the .apk files in your notifications to install them.

Install Dolphin *first*. Then Install Flash.

When you launch the Dolphin browser, go into the settings and make sure "User Agent" is set to "Desktop."

**NOTE** - It may be helpful to you to watch the tutorial video for the Fire HD on the goodereader website first:

kindle fire hd trying to install adobe flash but can't get past the allow installation of apps

L. Tate - Which Fire HD is it? If it's the brand new one running the Mojito OS, you won't be able to install Flash at all since it's built on Android Jelly Bean which does not support Flash.
