I would like to know if it's possible that I can use a Amazon Kindle gift card in place of my credit/debit card when ordering books?

Richard, this is a customer forum, not customer service. You should delete the e-mail address.

Yes, when there is gift card credit on the account, e-books will be charged to that instead of any debit or credit card on file. In fact, you can have no debit or credit card on file.

One caveat - you cannot pre-order a kindle book with just a gift card on your account, regardless of the gift card balance, even if the pre-order is $0.00. You must have a credit card or debit card on file to pre-order.
