Where have you searched? Is there a particular book you are looking to borrow or are you just browsing? If you want to actually borrow a book that's part of the Kindle Owners' Lending Library, you must do the borrowing from your Kindle (either e-ink or Kindle Fire).

Here's a link. Just remember, you can look for books to borrow on your computer, but you can only borrow and read them on Kindles, not on any apps.

Toggle the search window to Kindle Books. Click Go.
Click Kindle e-books.
Type into the window: prime eligible
Click Go.

You should see at least a half-million hits to choose from. You can narrow that down by choosing the genre over on the left.

I tried what the posts above suggested , it takes you to kindle unlimited not lending library choices. I will wait until August maybe it is because I already had a book this month . I was just searching to see what I wanted to read next month.

Artist says:
Yes, that's the reason. If you have already borrowed a book this month, you won't see the borrow for free button.

R. Wilde says:
I don't have either Prime or KU, but when I look at the product pages for those books (in a web browser), I see the Prime logo after the Kindle Price... is that not displayed for people with Prime if they have already borrowed a book for the month?

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 22, 2014 8:39:43 PM PDT
Artist says:
The borrow for free button only displays on the product page when you view it using your Kindle. The Prime logo still shows up on web pages whether you've borrowed a book or not.

I'm upset! They are trying to force you to upgrade to the unlimited. Very hard to find a free prime book.

KessaJo says:
How are they trying to "force" you to do anything?

Did you even try searching for KOLL books?

These are KOLL books...

Maybe as a public service, we need to all take turns posting the link to today's KOLL offerings, with the book count. Think it would help?

Actually, I think everyone should post the link that you & I posted (just above) in a brand new thread - nothing, but that link.

Then when someone posts that they can't find KOLL books, people can post a link to that thread.

OK, well, maybe I need a nap & people should not do that. LOL!

That is such a tease! I want The Little House on Prairie books so badly, but they just won't get on my Kindle.

As much as I wish I could say yes, the answer is pretty obviously no...

In reply to an earlier post on Aug 29, 2014 10:33:12 AM PDT
Reported. Again. That is an unauthorized version.

I didn't realize that - I had just seen that it said, "This title is not currently available for purchase."

Good catch.
