Shipping delay of my Kindle Fire order

I ordered my Kindle last weekend.... and it still hasn't shipped! I've been an Amazon customer for a very long time and I can't remember a time when an order did not ship within a couple of days of ordering. I did select free shipping, but I do that all the time. Ordered the Fire, screen protector and a cover.
See here I sit waiting as patiently as possible.... I don't even see a place on Amazon to write or call customer service. (Guess I never felt the need to contact them before so I never searched before).

To contact Kindle support click on help at the top of the page and then the contact us button on the next page. I use the option to have Amazon call me. They call within 1 minute

At the top of every page is a help link. On your confirmation email for the purchase you should have an estimated delivery date. You will have it by that time. Right now your order is not a priority because of the free shipping option and I imagine they are busy with father's day orders.

It's tough to call Amazon. You have to click on "Help" at the top of this page and then, this is the tricky part, click on the bright orange button that says, "CONTACT US". I don't know why they make it so difficult.

I had the exact same experience as you...ordered last Saturday, 6/8 and it wasn't shipped until today. Mine is expected Tuesday. Like you, I was extremely surprised at the delay because it has not happened to me before when ordering from Amazon. Plus, when they run a promotion (like the Father's Day deal), it's been my experience in the past that they will make a great attempt at getting everything delivered for the holiday they are running the promotion for. (Hope that sentence makes some sense!) A little disappointed that it won't be here for this weekend, but I guess patience is a virtue, right?
