Do you, by any chance think Amazon will respond (not to mention read) your post in this unmoderated customer forum? If you wish to talk to Amazon, you can use the help at the top or bottom of any Amazon page and the big contact us button on the next page.

As to the camera being a fake - I do know that MANY other customers have been using it to take pictures. Yes, it is a front facing camera designed for Skype but it does take pictures and actually stores the pic. But since you didn't ask how, I won't go into that.

T. Cook says:
"you can take a picture or use the video but it does not save it. There is nowhere to save, so the camera and video is a fake."

So, if I type a story on a computer, but don't save it, the computer is a fake? Interesting...

You do realize you buy Apps (Applications) to do what you want with the hardware/features of a device... The Camera's main purpose is for Skype, if you want to do something else, buy the software for it....

A. Dietz says:
Yes it does take pictures, and yes it does save them. You just haven't learned how to operate the device. Plus if you believe what the clerks at Best Buy tell you . . . well, I'm not going to go there on a public forum.

I shudder whenever someone says they talked to someone at Best Buy...
