How do I get my books back to page one once I have finished reading them?

Go to your Manage your Kindle page, locate the desired title, then use the Action button to the right of the title. Click on it and in the popup menu select "Clear furthest page read".

Edit: Here's a link.

Mike says:
While in the book, go to menu, go to, beginning.

That works but each time you open the book it wants to Sync to the furthest page read.

Zanzibar says:
Not for me. My books always open to whatever page it was on the last time opened. I usually reset all my books to first page with the Go To option when I finish with them and they open there the next time. It all depends on what you want to do with your kindle and how your settings are.

My books also will open to whatever page they're on when closed, however when I open them again and the device syncs I get the popup message asking if I want to go to the furthest page read. There aren't any settings to change other then clearing the furthest page read.

Mike says:
But, Rogue, I think that you should go to beginning in the book, first, before clearing to furthest page read on MYK. Otherwise, when returning to the book and opening it, it is still at the end and the "furthest page read".

I totally agree with you Mike. Go to the cover or beginning, then clear the furthest page read.

Konrad, you are at risk of losing your Amazon account for posting links to pirating sites.

I don't get a pop-up message about syncing to furthest page read. So there must be something to set.

CBRetriever says:
you only get that if you have sync between devices on, wireless on and the book is on more than one device

Zanzibar says:
OK - so like I said - depends on what you have set and what you are doing with your books, kindles and apps. It doesn't apply to everyone all the time.

CBRetriever says:
and I keep mine turned off because my husband and I often read the same book at the same time

I have multiple Kindles throughout the house and one in the car as well as my phone so I sync across my devices. My bad.

myself, I'm usually reading something different on all of mine

Miss Carol says:
Unless it's changed, having Synch between devices on is the default setting. You have to go and turn it off. So your instructions were very helpful. Because there are lots of people on my account, I have it turned off as well, but I had to go do it.
