Who knows? Right now the 7" is the big market, and Amazon went to 8.9" for their large screen, so I don't know why they'd go up another inch. But they could be working on it right now - Amazon doesn't talk about upcoming products any more than Apple does.

The size difference is so minimal, why wait?

What do you mean by "soon"? They have been releasing new Kindles in September.

If you keep sitting on the fence waiting for the next/new, you're never going to buy a device.

The 14" or the 17"?

The 42 inch that uses the 7 inch as a remote control.

lol I'd like to see the case for that. Does it come with a handsome strong man to carry it for you?

I'm waiting for the one that gets surgically inserted into my brain, so I don't even have to have a physical device to enjoy Kindle content.

I think you should wait, even if it takes years. No sense being disappointed.

I'm waiting for the version that stimulates your optic nerves and auditory nerves directly -- no display required, no speakers required and the size of a peanut.

If you're always worried about a new version coming out, you're never going to buy anything.

In the electronics world, there is ALWAYS a new version coming out soon.
