Is there any way to play Scramble with Friends or the new facebook drawing game from the Kindle Fire? I already play Words with Friends from my kindle.

Just download 1mobile.com app. Make sure you go to settings on your kindle and set it so you can download from outside sources.

Then you can download all the best apps directly on your Kindle... such as Scramble w/ Friends, Draw Something, Little Empire, better browsers... etc. You do NOT need to root your Kindle for this. Will not harm it.

OK, I'm a little slow with this. Just download any app from 1mobile.com? or a specific one? Also, I couldn't figure out where in settings I can set it to download from outside sources. Can you give me more specifics? Thanks. Sorry I'm a pain.

I've got the kindle set to allow download from outside sources. When I chose Draw Something from the 1mobile.com menu, I get the 404 not found message.

I used to play that game all the time when I was in college. We called it Twister & Rum.

OK...@Sarah Lewis...I was able to do it... Make sure you go into "Settings" and "Device" on your Kindle Fire. Scroll down to "Allow Installation of Applications from Unknown Sources" and turn that option "On." Then, you just go to "Web" on your Kindle Fire, and then go to the www.1mobile.com website. Search for Scramble for Friends. Click on "Download Now" and then click on the notice when the Kindle tells you that the download is complete. It will ask if you want to install it. Select "Install" and you should be good to go once you tell it how you want to sign in!

Lisa is correct. I actually sideloaded the 1Mobile app to the Kindle, but that works fine as well. Let us know if you need more help.

Lisa says:
yes you can. Go to 1mobile.com. You will be able to download it there. First go to your settings and change it to allow outside sources to come into your kindle. Wont hurt a thing. Amazon told me how to do that. you will be playing in no time.

Zynga just came out with an update for scramble with friends. It doesn't recognize my kindle as a valid platform so won't update. Now I can't play.

Didn't really figure out the problem. I think I just went back and then did not request the upgrade that is offered in the future. A friend recommended removing the app and reinstalling if I continued to have a problem.
